So i know that many cars share the same parts with the dsm's. But my shifter linkage has snaped and my beater died so i rly need a car. I got a freind with a junked 1g. Would the linkage from this car work because not one junkyard in my town with a 2g. Or is there another car that i could get it from.

The 2g shares a platform with the dodge avenger / chrysler sebring (not a lot of those are 5 speed but still)...

Would the cables from a 2g spyder work or do the 4g63 and 420a veicles use different linkage.

No the spyder linkage will not work with the 420a. Go get a shiftlinkage at the dealreship. I got mine for 89.00. It took like 30 minutes to put it in.
