So after my PTT discs shredded there splines I have to replace them. My question is pro and cons of going with the organic vs mettalic disc? I currently was running the mettalic but after reading up on the PTT website the organic sounds less forgiving and with a smoother engagement. Downside says once it heats up you must let it cool down. So how long does it take to heat up one with organic discs? Keep in mind this is a drag race car and see's maybe 6hrs of street driving a month.

You should call PTT. I called them and asked about using the organic disks in my car and they said that if all I did was autocross and street driving it should be fine. But for any drag or road racing where lots of shifting is involved I should use the metallic.

I've been daily driving with metallic disks for about 5000 miles with no problems, I haven't had the car to a track yet due to some really annoying turbo issues.
