Replacement A-Pillars with pods

Ok, ive was in a hurry to get some parts to get things together in my car, one of them of a a-pillar pod. I wanted a full replacement, just pop the old one out, pop the new one in.

well I go to * * * because I cant wait 2 weeks to get one online, so they order me one from autometer, and it comes, i go home, and find out its a cover, not a replacement. so im like wtf, is everyones like this? I try to install it anyway, but I dont even think it fits very well, I may try trimming it down, or just cutting it and using it like a short pod.

but im wondering if there are any out there that just clip right in where the old a-pillar went, for a 2g dsm, dual or tripple pod.

alright thanks, I know at * * * I was like "its a full replacement right?" and they kept saying yea...so ill email these guys and make sure it clips in, even tho it shoud since at the bottom it says lancer full pod cover or whatever.

alright sorry, gaugepods emailed me back and said they screw in with 2 or 3 screws. is this the best im going to get or are there any clip-ins out there? (screws look ugly)

I have never seen a better fit than the Gaugepods ones. The only problem is the screws they ship to you are often too long, though this may not be a big deal if you aren't rocking the 1g "choker" seatbelts. They also ship with screw covers that match the pod, so you won't have bare metal sitting there.

Yep.
They got screw covers and it covers those "ugly screws" with grey caps or black whatever color you purchase with your pod. I love the fitment on mine and couldn't have asked for better work.

Definately worth every penny.
