Hey I got a 2g with a FMIC and I was thinking of getting a smaller ac condenser so I can make room for radiator air flow. I know that I would have trouble getting everything to connect but alittle welding might work. I just wanted to see if anyone has done this yet or has anything to point me in the right direction. Thanks

I'm interested in this possibility also. I've debated picking up a Honda half size condenser to mount in front of the radiator on the driver's side, but am unsure of it's cooling ability. I've read some Honda guys like to upgrade to a full size condensor to have colder AC on really hot days.

Well my other job is in Hvac and you can do that but you will not cool as well with a smaller condenser, you will still cool so that is always a plus, there are products out there the increase the cooling capacity of the 134a that will help, my thoughts are what about moving the condenser to the rear of the car behind the bumper at a slant all youll need is longer ac lines?

There really isn't much room in the back between the bumper cover and the chassis/spare tire well so airflow would be really hindered. Would that create too much of a pressure loss in the system having the lines that long?

My other thought would be to either run a secondary radiator (or heater core) in the stock SMIC location to pull some more heat out of the cooling system while the A/C is running.
