removing internal waste gate on a FP evoiii big 16g

Ok so I have a Forced Performance evo iii big 16g and I em trying to remove the waste gate flapper for my external waste gate. But I have no idea how to remove it. Or can I just leave it? I don't think I can or should leave it though. So any help would be nice and thank you.

depends where the external wastegate is going, if its going on the manifold then you need to either weld the stock one shut or find some way to keep it forced shut, if the wastegate is going on the o2 housing then it would need to be removed

It is going on to the o2 housing so how would I remove it? It looks to me like its riveted in so would I be able to drill it out?

Just use a grinder to take the top of the rivet off. Only takes a minute or two and then it will just pop off the arm.
