hey guys, im in the process of removing my motor mounts and i was wondering on the front motor mount how the heck do you get the rear bolt thats holding the mount to the frame off. I can't get at it from anywhere. On the drivers side the exhaust piping is in the way to get at it and on the passenger side the tranny is in the way. Im lost here, i've read that its supposed to be super easy to get the front mount off. Am i missing somethin here? Do i need to remove some of the exhaust piping to get at it or is there another way of doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!

If your pulling the mounts out to put new poly ones in you need the whole dp section off. Do you have access to a lift? Preferably a 4-point? The front mount closes to the rad is easy to take off, only third to the driverside and tranny mounts, the rear mount is the hardest one to get off with my experience. Then take 2 wrenches or sockets, I believe the sizes are 14mm and 15mm, then hold one side in place and turn the other off. You will need to take the 2 bolts off the DP and both off the cat...and I think there are bushings that are bolted to the stocker exhaust just before the cat aswell that you will nedd to take off so the DP can come off. With a 4-point lift it took me an hour, but that was pulling the tranny and engine. It should take about 20 minutes to 1/2 hour with a lift. If you dont have access to a lift then take the DP off and reach down and unbolt the mounts the same as before what I said, but from up top.

Hope that helps,
Also if you need anyother info feel free to PM me, because i just pulled my engine, so I can remember what I had to do.
