removing arp studs

Are you talking about ARP Head studs that go into the block or ARP exhaust manifold studs that go into the head? Either way they accept an allen wrench for removal and installation. Look on the top of the stud.

Thanks, I know it was a dumb question but I just wanted to get all my information before I start tearing into the motor again.

Depending on when you got your ARP hardware you may have to double-nut the stud to back it out. The newer ARP hardware has the allen key slots on the top of the studs.

Correct, older ARP's don't have the allen drive on the studs and will require other methods of removing them. If you'r working with ARP head studs with the allend drive, its a 5mm allen that you need to install/remove them.

Thanks guys, I went to remove the head bolts and they do have the allen heads on it. Thanks again guys!
