Removing 1G Core Support

Does anyone know how to remove the core support on a 1g? I see at the top where the fenders are there are some welds, but other then those I don't know how the core support is held on.

It is tack welded on. You just have to drill out the welds.

its spot welded. there is actually not that many. I think there is a thing on vfaq about spot welds, either that or in the tuners tech guide.
