This is the last thing I needed to go wrong on my car at this point. Right now, I need a new throw out bearing in my tranny, my engine oil pressure is changing with clutch movement (early sign of cw), and now my radiator is leaking and leaving about a 4"x4" puddle everytime I shut the car off. Heres the deal, I found a 6 bolt motor, and am planning on getting it this weekend. But it's going to be a few months before it will get built up and done. I won't have time to attempt to change the tob until thanksgiving weekend, and I don't want to order a new radiator until black friday (can get one for cheap). My question is- is there anything I can do to prolong my car's driveabliity? I have heard of addatives to the rad, but do they work? This car is giving me one problem after another, and i'm just a broke high school student.
PS- I only drive about 5 miles at a time during one day. I am also keeping an eye on my coolant levels.

I guess the joyful days of owning one when they work right outweighs the shittyness of their reliability sometimes.

If your going to replace it, find the leak and remove the fins around the leak with pliers and then pinch off both ends and throw on some jbweld after drying the area.

one problem after another after another is just part of owning a dsm but in the end its still better then driving a honda good luck fixing the radiator.

JB weld wherever the radiator is leaking from for the meantime. I'm pretty sure it will hold up till you get that other motor swapped in. Just don't rag on the car.
