I noticed my radiator light is on in my gauge cluster. i have enough coolant in the motor. My question is, why wouldnt there be any pressure in the radiator hose going from the radiator to the coolant housing? When its hot i can squeeze it together. Im just curious as to why it isnt solid, full of coolant.

Re-fill your coolant over flow bottle and the light will go out, there is a sensor at the bottle that indicats when it is too low. There shouldn't be pressure in the line, I can squeeze mine, it just pours some coolant back into the over flow bottle, and when I let off the hose, the coolant is sucked back up. Its just coolant moving through the motor, and radiator, when the coolant gets warm, and expands it goes to the over flow bottle, when the coolant starts to cool down it sucks coolant out of the over flow bottle and back into the system so there are no air pockets. Also if you were unable to squeeze the upper rad. hose I would suspect the hose is dry rotted, and this would also cause the hose to bulge. Hope this helps

Im thinking the sensor in my overflow tank is messed up. i have plenty of coolant in the resevoir. Thanks for the help. i just thought that there should be more coolant in the hose.

That's not how things work.
Re-fill your windshied washer resevoir.

I second that. That light that looks like a rad. is for the washer fluid. It's in the hatch trim on the left side.
