what are the best "racing" seats available? i dont want legit full blown racing seats, im looking for some adjustable-ness since i do drive the car on the streets. i like Sparco and Bride of course but anything that looks nice and functions is good with me. id like black or red seats btw

I went with corbeaus. They offer a retro style seat that I think fits the times with the car. Im not a fan of fancier looking seats for the eclipse. Plus corbeau's are a little cheaper compared to other companies.

I really dig the seats, how much did you pay for both seats?

I bought a set of Status: Racing for $1800. May be pushing the budget a bit but one reclines and one is fixed. I like both supporting smaller companies and being able to customize my seat like an upholsterer but on a budget.

Those corbeau's are the GTS model I believe, I was looking at them since they resembled stock seats. They look good, are comfy, and are cheap (locally $950 for a set) I just couldn't justify buying a seat that feels pretty similar to stock as far as bolstering goes

They also make those in a GTS II model i'm not sure the difference. They looked really good in the foxbody mustang @ late model restoration.

Brides are a nice seat but they have a hard racer boy reputation around here since every bagged honda civic runs the 90's JDM's nowadays

Thats why I bought Corbeus. They resemble stock and look like they belong in the car. Modern seats from most companies they don't look right in an eclipse. Those Corbeaus actually almost mimic what comes in a base STI. My 2018 sti and those Corbeaus are very similar.
