A mustang with exhaust and gears is as queer as your assumption about me. I know exactly what's on the car. I've seen it with my own eyes and talked to the guy. It's run 8.1 at the track. He dials back the ramp in on the nitrous and cuts a stage at the flashlight drags.

I'm no import fanboy either. I've owned and modified two sn95 stangs, a 95 gt and a 98 cobra. I did all the sissy ass bolt-ons you're talking about and the cars were SLOW. I'd race people and lose, and ask them at the finish to wait for me to go get my other car. They'd ask what and I'd tell them "my talon" and they would decline, out of straight up fear. My 98 cobra was my bait car and yours is your pride and joy? I sure hope not.

I've turned wrenches on friends' fox bodies with 347 sbf and 426 sbc motors in them. My domestic buddies run 8.0s on 275 drag radials and 10.5 et streets. Another runs 8.5s at 12psi from 2 hx35s. My dsm buddies run 8.8's in a conquest, 9.5's in STREET awd autos, etc. And I ain't gonna lie... i don't have shit right now... Oh, except for a $200,000 house and a 330ci. Sold all my quads, bikes, cars to be a big boy. But I'll get back into it someday... and come looking for smacks like you in a stangs with gears and exhaust. Heck bud, throw your maf and throttle body on there too... even your bolt-in sub-frame connectors and R-wheels too. .

Congrats on your twin turbo cobra. I admit that's much more respectable than most. But did you build it? Did you fabricate and weld your own shit? Did you tune it? My buddies and I build and tune our own shit. Two of them own shops and dynos.

As for my Cobra... I used it as a BAIT CAR. I didn't care about losing because I just wanted some cat like you to get overconfident and then race my little 4 cylinder for money.

As for nutswinging... I've worked on my buddies' cars, assembled, fabricated, troubleshot, etc. I'm not just name droppin or nutswinging. But think what you want pal.

EDIT: Read your "my new ride" spec sheet. The car seems well put together and clean. But again, did you build it? And what does that dyno sheet trap again?

11.5 at 125... . I went 11.2 @ 126 when I didn't know shit back in 2003... 3582 at 25 psi, breaking up after every shift bc I had 2g maf, vented bov, and tuned with a s-afc.

The 330 isn't leased pal.

My assumptions would still net me a WIN against you in a race. MY BUDDY'S car is in my garage right now. I could pull it out and drive it to FL and mop up that pretty little mustang. Fast is only relative to certain things. MY 600 sport tourer sports better times from the factory than that. Did I build it ?

And btw, that is all on 93 octane pump gas, with full leather interior, ice cold a/c, full stereo, on 18" wheels with street tires, power steering, daily driver. It runs the same at the track as it does when I drive it to the grocery store.

I'm modding my house boys. Lol. But since you made the callout, any of MY BUDDIES would be happy to spank your lil pony at the track. None of us street race like we did when we were young and dumb. We will give you 11 months to get it ready for the Shootout. You can run test and tune friday night and get your feelings hurt. If you win, I'll pay for your gas to get there. You're 2 seconds off the pace there sparkplug. That kinda ET isn't as easy as turning up the boost. Better call your builder and tuner. Just because someone else trapped 153 on a similar setup, doesn't mean sh|t. I said it's a nice looking car, and i'm sure it's fun as hell on the street... but you get no respect from me for its craftsmanship and ET's if you didn't build it. Nobody that I'd be afraid of talks like him, nor gets so insecure and butthurt that he'll go off on a 10 post tirade before I ever even replied to him.

I think he means that him and his "buddies" would beat me up in a fight or something. All the Internet chest beating aside, let's look at the facts. The facts are, he drives a BMW 330 (which is no faster that Lando's Genesis btw) and doesn't even own a fast car, yet he's talking shit about a car that would destroy anything he has ever owned.

You can tell he's really insecure, so he'd probably go out and start trying to build a fast car and end up missing his car payment and getting his small-pee pee ride repossessed. I better stop getting his jimmies all rustled for his sake.
