raced a 1996 GTI VR6 w/ my 93 awd

so anyways ive known the kid for a couple months now and our cars have actually brought us pretty close, . anyways so we decide to race today heres out it went...oh ya, the gti vr6 (1996)

we went out to a deserted road...both lined up, his friend got out and did the call in the middle of us! so i just got new kumho 712's on yesterday so my launch was pretty good, and i took him instantly about 2 cars right off the line....i stay 2 cars in front of him until about 95, he starts pulling on me a tiny....by 100 hes only one car behind me....by 120 hes half of a car behind me, and then at 135 (when we shut down) we were nose to nose...i was happy because i would have easily beat him in a quarter mile, its just my ####y 14b has no balls after 100, haha. anyways it was a fun race...hes got a cat back exhaust and a ported intake manifold. Ive got a bunch of stuff laying around the house, but the only thing i have installed is my dejon tool intake and my k&n filter.

fun race, his car is nice looking too! the 1996 gti vr6 is rated a 15.1 stock in the quarter and 0-60 in 6.7

My friend has a 1997 VR6...2700 lbs and 170hp and tqe...it pulled on me when i was stock from about 30mph when i was in second....i dont think he can touch me now.....

ya man we got a road called pecos road...its like 20 miles...nothing but flat road, its pretty kewl. mad cops there sometimes.
