I know that it has been a while since I have updated my blog. This project is not a "im in a hurry and need to finish it so i can drive it" type project. As you can tell from the 1st page pics it is a complete tear down and restore with a little spice
... More importantly it is a "as time and money comes" project...like everyone else, times got tough with the economy/work this past winter/spring so i didnt get anything done and actually tried to sell the car. In the long run i decided to keep it and work towards finishing it. I still havent got much done but here are a few pics for you to check out...doing a build like this is very time consuming so bare with me especially when im only home 3days a week.
thanks guys

New slugs from MAPerformance.com-Wossner 8.0:1

I got both pop-up headlight assemblies torn apart, sanded, cleaned and coated. The plastic headlight trim was also cleaned and dyed black for a much more fresh and new look. There is also an aluminum ring that holds the actual seal headlight in place, that was also cleaned and polished.

I also managed to tear out the shifter assembly and ebrake assembly and got them torn apart so that they can be sand blasted and powder coated as well since I am not going back with my center console.
