Quieting down a Thermal catback

I have a megan downpipe, vibrant 3" cat, summit 24" glasspack muffler as a resonator and a summit 3" chambered muffler that is the same size as the stock 2g muffler and it is not too loud or overbearing and feels like it added a good amount of power. All together everything cost me $350 and that includes the labor the muffler shop charged me to make the cat pipe and catback.

PS: My Grand National has an ATR stainless exhaust with PITBULL muffler. This was a real popular exhaust back in the day before there shop closed.

So I was never able to take the car in as the injectors I ordered don't fit so I have to return them. I will keep you posted after that mess is done.

If its not quite enough, ill have to look into those vibrates...good stuff.

One of these may be something to look at, I'm seriously thinking of one for my car.

They even have one with dual tips, that looks a lot like the stock muffler.

I have seen Vibrant Ultra-Quiet resonators make a world of difference on a few cars. I would go with one of those and a GReddy Evo muffler. Might even be too quiet.

You know what's weird, i've sold the thermal setup (dealing with shipping nightmares on it actually too) but when i went to AWD the straighter system or something made it a lot more tolorable, I was using the same muffler for a short time and just had a 3" ss cat back setup from the AWD the trans/driveline was bought out of and it was a lot more pleasant, now i'm running an off brand muffler with only 3in/out and only 3" tip (instead of the thermal's 5+" tip/can)

if i were going to spend any money on going quieter i would go either dynomax to save money or go all out and get the electric unit shown above, they're just bad-ass from all i've seen
