Quick rod mounting question

First off don't reply unless you are 100% sure or have a picture to back up your answer. When mounting the rod onto the piston, where does the bearing tang go? Does it go towards the intake or exhaust side. I forgot and my machinist needs to know today so he can finish everything up. Thanks.

I just rebuilt my 7 bolt, and the lettering on the stock rods pointed forward, the same way as the arrow on the piston. THis puts the little oiler hole and the upper rod bearing tang to the left looking from the front of the engine.

The tang goes towards the exhaust side on the stock rods. I'm holding one in my hand right now and can take a picture if you want.

If the arrow is pointing up in your picture, the letters on the rod are up, the oiler is pointig left, and the tang is on the left. Looking from the front of the engine on my car the exhaust is on the left.

The locator notches for the bearings go to the exhaust side of the engine on a 4G63.
