I was about to put in my dejon tool intake - and was doing some cleaning under the hood and I noticed that my transmission mounting bolt (the one bolt that goes from the mount to the transmission) is missing.

So obviously I need to replace it - but I don't really have the time to wait to order one from Mitsu(Conicelli) - but if I knew the specs on it, I could go pick one up at a hardware store.

Does anyone know what the specs for that bolt are?

if there is only 1 missing, dont worry about it, just order a new one and throw it in when u get it.

ooooooo....well in that case...id say u need a new one. go to a junkyard or somethin, or just go to a parts store and trial and error some bolts.

Not sure if this helps or not, I'm a 2g, but I had to get a new bolt for my rear mount and that was 12 x 1.25 I believe. However, I don't know if the front is the same or if the 1g and 2g have that in common. Maybe it's a starting point for ya.

What I personally would do is drive down too the auto store and pull another clutch housing bolt out and have them match you one up. That is what I did when I was putting my engine on the stand. If you don't want to do that, I will be going to the auto store tomorrow and I might have another bolt laying around so if I do, I will get you the specs on it.

Clutch housing?

BTW- I did realize that it was in fact TWO bolts - the ones that go from the mount to the tranny. My 1.8 has them - so thats how I confirmed it. They should use the same bolts too - I would have used them as a sacrifice or even just to get the measurements - but they've bolted in for 12 years...

Ohhh sorry I was thinking of the bolts that go to the clutch housing to the engine block. Ok thats different. I'll still take a look for you today because I pulled an engine out of one of my parts cars awhile back and I might have a few laying around. I'll let you know. Good luck
