Quick question about ebay maf adapter and filter

was just looking to replace my stock air box and saw
eBay Motors: 95-99 All Eclipse Talon MAF Adapter + Red Air Filter (item 180248990265 end time Jun-05-08 16:30:41 PDT)

on ebay. Don't care too much about a hardpipe right now. Was wondering if i'll need additional clamps to hook it up and will it require me to cut out the stock airbox?

you un-bolt the air box and bolt that on. I have one but its very restrictave, I am switching to a vibrant one.

That is very restrictive. Get one made by Vibrant. Welcome To Extreme PSI sells it.

You could. I got the Vibrant filter with their adapter.

they have two kits. one for $42 with a 4.5' generic vibrant filter and one for $56 with a K&N filter. Both kits have the vibrant maf adapter. I was wondering is it worth it to get the K&N for $14 more? I noticed that the generic filter has the top opened so it would seem like it could allow more air in than the K&N?

Not liking the look of the ebay adapter, hole looks small and cant tell if the adapter plate is plastic. Hard to tell.

We sell the Vibrant filter and adapter for 50, and with a K&N for 60.
