Quick Newbie Question about an O2 Dump Setup

I planning on getting a 3" Turbo-Back exhaust with a Cat. I'm new to this but if I want to O2 Dump do I need a new O2 dump housing AND O2 emilinator on the new exhaust?

Or, you could just post & ideal setup with all the parts needed for me to get.

Ok. I believe I found out the answer.

An O2 Eliminator Downpipe is really a O2 Housing + Downpipe in one that has an external O2 dump pipe.

An O2 Housing with an external dump can be used with a normal downpipe instead of a O2 Eliminator Downpipe.


I think this is correct but please let me know if I'm wrong.

That is right on. If you are thinking about getting a turboback exhaust and an 02 external dump, i would go with the 02 eliminating downpipe instead of buying a turboback and then a seperate 02 housing. I am going to get an 02 dump soon and i wish i would have just got an 02 eliminating turboback instead when i bought my turboback.
