Quick coupler question!

Does it matter if its 2.25" or 2.5", I just order the 2.25" and a 4" from Extremepsi. Oh well, when i get my new turbo Im sure the 2.25" will have enough stretch to fit the td05h inlet.

Stretching it out will decrease it's life, just call them up and ask to switch to a 2.5.

Will it really decrease its life stretching it 1/4 of a inch? its silicone, if it can handle heat I'm sure it can handle the extra 1/4" stretch.

Not to mention if it does break, Extremepsi has a lifetime warranty on their couplers. :thumb:

Then try it, if you can get it on and clamp it down and it works then use it.

Yes, with some couplers heat and the stretching will reduce the life, high levels of boost (repetative) put high levels of stress on couplers too. Combine all three and you get a good equation of how to fail a coupler.
