Question about turn signal lights

Im really confused here. The turn signal lights are the corner ones or the ones in front next to the grill? The ones in the front blink, but the corner lights stay on, both bulbs.

The corner lights are running lights. They don't normally blink. You can wire them so that they will.

What do they do? They are always on at night? when the park brake is on? I've never had them working before.
