Im not sure if im just confused or what but after reading a thread i can't seem to find now I got the impression with a LS1 MAF and trans and asumeing i actuly need it (meaning runing 17+ psi) could you run a vented BOV without any problems? becouse i know with the stock maf you can't... at least not and have it run like shit..

The original air sensor works in a way that needs air to create "vortexes" around a part that it has in the inside; I guess that if air passing through it is denser than atmospheric pressure it wont work as it is supposed.

Also, it´ll block the air much more that the LS1.

So has anyone ran this as a blow-through yet and had good results? I'm custom making my own IC piping and possibly the turbo VPC pipe, I'm about a week away from fabrication, although I need to start planning this so I know what my options are for the MAF. I have a 3" GM MAF on the way and I will have 2.5" pipe to the TB, so I really don't care where i mount it, although I will have to have a couple of enlargers to take the pipe from 2.5" to 3", although I don't for see that being a problem for airflow.

Although logically the GM MAF can flow more air through the VPC pipe, I feel that being able to vent without a rich fuel condition is the best way to go. I'm going to call Mike from Ramchargers when I order the translator anyways, although it is always nice to get your question answer on here!
