question about mods and tuning.

So, I just put an evolll turbo, 550 injectors, safcll on my 1g talon. It has a 190 fuel pump and intake and exauhst.

The problem I'm having is that my car really isnt any faster then it was. I set the safcll to -10. My logger is in the mail, on the way.

Why isn't my car any faster? Is it because it needs to be tuned? Should I take it to the Dyno?

well the logger will help, did you turn up your boost at all? that will help, so yes.. it needs to be tuned

Took the words out of my mouth...turn it up!!! i would deffinately wait untill you get your logger so you can see what your car is doing...tune for knock and see what your duty cycle is on the inj...do you have a boost controller

You can't expect to re-do your fuel system and not do any tuning...

You have a Boost Leak.

I would say it definitely needs to be tuned, but Tyler is probably right. Boost leaks are notorious for evidencing themselves as fuel cut at low boost settings. The extra air leaking out is making your ECU think there is more air entering the engine than is the case. When this artificially inflated airflow signal reaches a certain g/rev. . . Voila! Fuel cut.
