Question about differences in ACT clutch fitments

Does a act clutch made for a turbo dsm fit any year? or do the different years need specific clutch kits? also, how wise is it to by a slightly used clucth?

[edit: ya know...nevermind...i found my answer looking for clutch kits on dsmparts.com. but i would still like to know how wise it is to by a slightly used clutch, around 2000-3000 miles?]

Look at the clutch to see how much wear is on it. All clutch kits from 90-99 will fit, at least for the turbo models. Doesn't matter if its AWD or FWD, only the flywheel is different.

I dont usually like to buy used clutchs unless you know for sure why the person is selling it. Never know if its glazed or what not. Before buying it, get a really good close up picture and look for wear on it. If your not sure, post the picture up here and we'll take a look at it.
