Question about dead battery

battery died a while ago. it made that clicking noise.
now it doesnt make that noise anymore, and i can no longer use the acc function does this make sense?
is the battery just even more dead now then before.
it died because i left the trunk open for hours.

just give it a jump and let it run for a while to charge back up.
