Ok so I have been doing a lot off reading on this topic and would like to make sure I understand everything that IV read.
So here it goes I am looking to put a 1g head on my 7 bolt that is a 1997 GSX and from what I have been reading it sound like I can bolt the stock CAS that is on a 97+ on a 1g head and it work just like it should?
My other Q. is would the 1g 7 bolt head have the same size intake ports as a normal 1g and also have the same size head stud dynamiter as a 2g 7 bolt or would it have 6 bolt dynamiter head stud?

So in short if the 1g 7 bolt has 1g runners with 2g head stud size bolt holes it would be the best head to get for this swap correct?

Thanks all help is appreciated !!!

Any 1G head will be fine. To use the 97+ CAS, you'll have to tap the intake cam for it (if you're using the 1g cams). Then you'll just need the 1G turbo water pipe and thermostat housing.

yeah if I couldn’t find one I will use any 1g head I was just wondering if the 1g 7 bolt would be the best of both worlds kinda thing. I am going to be using aftermarket cams.
