The factory design is pull type...stick with what's been proven to work...

what way are you talking about ?

here is how i see it.....

im looking at " the push style " as if i was standing right in front of the front bumper and the fans are pushing air towards the motor.

and i see the pull style the opposite way.

help

Picture the fan laying flat on a table, with the blade down and the motor side up.

A puller would pull air from the table through the fan. A pusher would push air through the fan and into the table.

(I might not have offered the best example, but I hope it helps)

Run a puller style fan on the backside (engine side) of the fan.

You could get the same affect with a pusher style fan on the front of the radiator, but I don't believe we have enough space for fans in the front.

Actually, I run a single 10" pusher fan from a mecedes benz and it fits perfect between my fmic and radiator. I actually have it mounted on the passenger side and my oil cooler is on the driver side. It cools better than my stock or slim puller fans ever did. On a 95* day, I used to see average temps of 210* but now with the pusher, the highest I have ever seen is 206*.

i would do that but the front mount intercooler i have is to tall, so the fan wouldnt fit back there...what im gonna do is get 2 SPAL 10" fans and throw that on..i should get good water temps then ...

do you use a mechanical water temp gauge by any chance?

because i have one and the probe doesnt go in all the way into my thermostat housing so i have to use the stock gauge until i figure something out

Actually, my fan is located where my ac condensor used to be so fmic height shouldnt matter.

I am using an autometer electric temp gauge because the sending unit fits into the thermo housing perfectly. I also use my logger to monitor temp more than I use my gauge.
