okay i just purchased some pte 680cc ball style injectors because i got them for a cheap price. I was just wondering if my car would run fine with them without any tuning because at the moment i have no way of tuning my car. and im running the evo 16g turbo and i was wondering with these injectors which fuel pump would i need to purchase in order to run around 20lbs of boost and what other mods should i plan on getting. i plan on getting an safc soon to be able to tune.

i really wouldn't recommend putting them in just yet bud. Even with the S-AFC you will have a hard time tuning it spot on because of the injector size.

The S-AFC really shouldn't be used too much higher than 550's if you want to really fine tune. You may also want to consider picking up a fuel pressure regulator to help tuning with the S-AFC if you go that route.

best of luck

I would not install them yet either. You need atleast a SAFC. I have heard that people can run up to 650cc on a SAFC. I just bought some 682cc injectors and I am going to try them out with a maft and SAFC. I'll let you know how it works.

alright thanks for all the info. ill just hold out and save up the money to buy everything i need. anyone know of a good direct bolt on fpr for a 2g? and which fuel pump should i go with? 190 or 255?

I currently have a 190lph re-wired fuel pump, eventhough it was working fine without an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator I added one not too long ago (aeromotive), then I added some FIC 650cc injectors and it was running pig rich... so with the MAFT I was able to get a good tune on the e316g, but I've see that the best way to accomodate your fuel setup is to burn a chip to your exact mods and that'll bring the car to deliver fuel like stock on iddle and like a hotrod under boost.

The best fuel fuel pump will be depending on your goals, most likely you'll end up upgrading down the line to a bigger turbo, and since you plan on getting a FPR anyway then go with walbro 255 LPH, plus they pretty much cost the same.

PTE injectors usually flow a lot less than advertised. I think, if he knows what he's doin, he could get away with it on an S-AFC. I would listen to all the other advise as well.
