I am starting my prothane bushing install. I have heard lots of horror stories on how hard it is. So far it hasn't been that challenging only time consuming. I am starting with the front. I will be replacing the struts, springs, control arms and ball joints, tie rod ends, and steering gear. In order to replace the bushings in the subframe you have to drop the steering gear so I firuged I might as well replace the leaky 16yo unit that is in there now.

I have been held up with the progress of the install do to a back oder on the Tein springs I ordered. I decided not to wait the extra month and went with the Eibach Prokit. Do I need an alignment kit to adjust the camber and caster properly with this setup? I am hoping the car handles a little tighter with the new parts I have installed, I don't plan on going out and setting any records on a skid pad or anything.

I just finished this on my Galant, it was much easier than I thought it would be. I read the Vfaq and it had me a little worried, it went smoothly though and only took a few hours. I did what you are doing and replaced everything while I was under there, and I put a new rack in as well. I also took about an hour and pressure washed the whole floorpan of the car and repainted the crossmembers. It definitely improves the feel of the steering and makes things a lot tighter. Get ready for some vibrations though.
