I recently replaced my goodyear battery with a napa one beacause it was cranking very slowly and showed weak on a battery test under load (>3 years old). The goodyear fit almost perfectly but the napa battery is too short and not wide enough for the stock battery tie down. Did I get the wrong size or something? I just wanted a cheap battery and it is a 26 just like the one I had before... why is it smaller?

Could've been given the wrong one. I know they have Honda batteries that are smaller, but are also have lower cranking/CCA outputs. Your best bet is to see if they have the old battery (if they use a core), if not, go to autozone or anywhere and pick up a battery there. They have many direct-fits.
