Ok, so I spent about 2 hours last night getting motor ready to pull. All thats left is to pull PS pump, remove CV shafts, unbolt trans and motor mounts and lift her out.
As you can see, there is a ton of junk in the intake and head, so more oil must have been blowing by for longer than I have know. Yet another POS (previous owner screw-up).
Plan is to have motor out tonight or tomorrow to begin disassembly and see how bad this thing really is. Already got the quote from the machine shop for $225 to tank it and bore and hone it with a torque plate. So it starts.
If anyone has a good deal on some forged stuff, let me know. I know a guy selling used eagle h beams for $150, but I am not sure what kinda shape they are in.
