I've done some searching and I can't find anyone else with my problem, so please help:
I just installed a Profec B Spec 2 boost controller and I am having hell setting it up. For safety, I thought I'd set the low at 0%, high at 10%. I drove it in the low setting, and it slams the boost to 20 psi really fast. I'm a little confused about the "gain" and "set gain" settings and where a good place for them to be is.
I know in the manual it says that if the set gain and the gain are close, it will spool faster, but if they get too close, it will spike. But, what is close? And, which one should be set at a higher setting?
The manual is translated from Japanese, so it's about as informative as my dog. At least my dog doesn't make mistakes like the manual has in it.
If there is a link with some advice or more details about how to properly set it up, and then how to tune it, that would be spectacular.
If anyone has a similar setup as me, let me know what your settings are and maybe I could start from there. I have a Garrett T3/T4 Hybrid 57 Trim, 35mm Tial Wastegate, SAFC2, 650cc injectors, 255lph fuel pump. Those should be the important mods mentionables.
