:talon: 1992 AWD TSI Auto tranny converted to AWD TSI 5speed manual tranny...

I have been messing with this for like 3 years now, mostly due to lack of funds...

But now that everything is complete, I think, I am having a problem that I can't seem to fix...

The 2 bolts that hold the drivers side axle to the engine block keep breaking off... this has happened now like 5 or 6 times...

I thought I had it fixed when I realized that the passenger and drivers side engine mounts where still the originals, and wrong, I got the proper ones and swapped them out... But the bolts broke again... I am using 8.8 bolts, but no locktite (yet)...

Now I am clueless... Is the tranny mount that attaches to the passenger side engine mount different as well??? Ive tried looking at the online FAQS, but the tranny mount either wasn't swapped or wasn't mentioned at all...

Please help!!! I've got all this money tied up in a car that can't even drive and I am one sad panda...

Thanks in advance,
Keith

I have 4 brand new engine mounts... I was hoping this would fix the problem, but it hasn't... When they broke the 1st time, it was because the Axle was bad and it damaged the AC bracket which I am thinking is the recurring problem...
