It's now May of '08. 210k miles on the Talon.
I hear this loud grinding sound and the car shakes at about 70 mph. If you guessed wheel bearing AND tie rod end, you'd be correct.

Turns out, that impact into the hillside did a bit more damage than before.
But since it was May, I had no money left. School had drained every cent from me. I didn't get around to fixing it until mid June.
When I did, I ordered the parts myself. $80 for the wheel hub and $10 for the tie rod end from rockauto.com

It would not be the last time I ordered from them.
This time, the axle came out of the hub just fine, so I was back on the road in an afternoon, but I didn't have the money for an alignment. I just tried to line it up the best that I could with a tape measure and drove it that way until this past January.
