Pressure Plate Help!!!

I have looked on vfaq and did a search. I can't find what the tq specs are for the pressure plate for a 2g dsm. Are the specs the same for all clutches/pressure plates?

Help please.

They are about 15lbs/ft and don't forget to torque in a star pattern and not to over torque. When I overtorqued mine I found myself buying a EZout bit to get the broken bolt out of the flywheel, and then finding a replacement bolt. NOT FUN. And remember the pressure plate needs to sit flush with the flywheel. Let us know how it turns out!

Oh yea and no the torque specs are not the same for all DSMs but as far as 2G Turbo models, yes they are the same.

Really, only 15ft lbs? That doesn't seem like a whole lot.

Yes only 14 ft-lbs (in my Mitsu book). Most of the force is rotational and there are 6 bolts and 3 steel guide pins to hold it in that direction.
