How exactly does this work ... obviously there is intercooler pressure drop and turbo to manifold pressure drop, but how does this affect boost? I have an electronic boost controller set for 26.5 psi ... but I'm only hitting 24 - 25 on the guage. I couldn't find leaks anywhere so is this jsut considered normal pressure drop? I'm running an hks evc4 controller.

Where is the boost controller's pressure source?

If the boost controller's source is before the intercooler, it might really be giving you 26.5 psi, but the gauge is might be reading the pressure after the intercooler, which will be lower.

yea my pressure source is on the compressor outlet of the turbo so that makes sense then. If I move that after the intercooler then I should be ok or I just have to compensate for it and run 27 psi to make 25 psi?

Actually now that I think about it .. I have a vaccum line teed from the bov going to the boost controller, and another one from the turbo compressor outlet. So which one is the real pressure source then?
