I have a 94 eclipse with the 1.8L with about 165k on it. What are things that i need to replace on my engine to compensate for the extra power of a nitrous system? Maybe a 40 to 50 shot. :thumb:

Im no expert, but make sure everything is maintained and working. Replace broken stuff and take it in for a good maintenance.

You may need a new clutch and probably want to retard timing a bit. A wet shot is safest for you since you don't have any fuel control

trying to break the 125hp mark? :D

:D :thumb: ;) :p :shhh:

The honest truth is you don't have to do much to use NOS. As long as you keep yourself in control and don't try to keep uping the shot you and the car will be fine. Don't go over a 50hp shot, and don't use it except at WOT (wide open throttle)... The NOS kit you buy (wet or dry) should contain a method of uping your fuel to account for the extra air...

NOS will run you around $4-600 for a good kit that will make your car just about perform like a stock DSM with turbo.

If you can handle waiting and spending a grand the best solution really is to sell your current car, and buy a real turbo DSM. You'll love it far more for it's abilities.
