Dose anyone use PowerSlot Big Brake Kit on 1G, I'm going to upgrade the brake soon so I need some recommendation and if it's worthy. I know this kit looks like AEM kit which is not that good as I heard.

you are correct...power slot bought out aem big rotor division last year. i recently installed a set f/r (power slot plus) on my 2g. have not had a chance to try them out yet as i have a lot of work left to do on the car. but they look great...and a bigger rotor will help as far as keeping the rotors cooler...plus give better braking leverage...for the price i do not think it is a bad deal.

on ebay they are selling the fwd for 409-459 shipped and the awd 389-439 shipped... real nice too i ordered the fwd on accident and forgot i am doing an awd brake conversion, they still got the rotors to me really fast and they are beautiful, i can't wait until the dual piston calipers come in... the awd big brakes are HUGE!

Good Stuff.
I was planning on buying some Brembo or Wilwood Calipers from Summit Racing.
Now i will definately do some more research now that this option is there.

2g brakes have a different offset, the rotor sits farther back in the hub then the 1g's do. Just get a set of 93 or 94 awd dual piston calipers and brackets or look into the Bear Kit, for about $800

big brake kit is not really necissary for a daily driver.

if this car is just a DD just upgrade your brakes and thats it

I have an AEM 12.5" big brake kit on my 93 AWD with the stock 2 piston rotors and its one of the best brake bang for the buck upgrades. In order to make it fit you have to bang and grind the end of the lower control arm until it clears the rotor. Its not pretty and bit of a pain but it works. I race with it with race pads and they worked great and not issue with the control arm or ball joint. Of course there are other options.

Any pics of this? I'm going to be moving to aftermarket LCA's and I may be able to get these to fit no problem.
