I think it woudl be fun to see what people have done to their cars for free, please give us your results as well. I'll start.

Boost controller selenoid restrictor removal mod: worked extremly well for performance but turbo statred to squeel shortly after, still running like that though.

Radiator fan bypass: works well when i need to cool my engine after a race, gives me the edge on onther people with hot engines.

Intercooler flush: did not see a difference.

i removed the aircan from my car, before i got an intake, and it fel stornger during acceleration.

Most of the free mods that are beneficial have been listed on this site. I had a hard time modifying the BCS so I built a MBC. Less than $15-10.

i painted the tailights with a 4" stencil i made and can of spray paint i found in my garage,although i never finished them. if u have some small piping layin around,i saw on here someone replaced there stock dump tube with a hard pipe so it made the bov louder and it looked nicer too. i took the screen out behind the flip-up head light by the intake, and the screen behind the intercooler. i also removed my foglights so more air would get to the intercooler.

yeah i ported my mani and my o2 housing and the difference in spoolup was like night and day. didnt port my turbine housing though, i dont see the point with an 1 1/2" long crack in the housing.

Should have at least port matched it to the manifold and a 7cm gasket while guarding against boost creep as well.

well its got a ported big16g on it now, so its not a problem anymore

I cut a large square opening behind the Side Mount, wide enough for two lengths of gutter guard to be bolted in. Very easy took me about a half hour. I used a Scheffield razor knife to cut the splash guard. Cut thorough that thing like butter. I dont have any data to show if it was in improvement but im sure increased airflow will def. give some kind of improvement.

Here's a good one for newbies.

when installing a boost controller get a spare egr solenoid and hook it in parallel with e boost controller. That way when you try and run 1,000,000 psi the computer steps in and saves you from having to ask us why your motor blew up

Well I could've paid someone to do it for me too, The point was to do it myself

Plus once finished mine will actually carry the air past that second metal barrier yours stops at. That way the air is directly aimed at my air filter since it's moved a bit from the normal location.
