Devilish, what are you using to paint your work? Do you have a paint gun?

i use PPG paints, basecoat/clearcoat. i used some OMNI for that last project, and it worked well. next time though i want to try Martin Sr. Paints. yes, i use an air gun / compressor. would never use rattle-can on that stuff. too much time invested to spray-can it! :laugh:

if your looking for a painter, you can usually find one of your smaller local shops to do the final prime & paint for a reasonable price (or so i've heard) if you don't have the equipment or know-how.

I dont have any pics yet because its not finished, but at the moment I'm doing a fiberglass overlay of my dash. Having a wrecked 1g in my back yard comes in handy for experimenting. But when I finish, IF it looks decient I'll take some pics and post...I'm just keeping my fingers crossed on it looking decient.

Just curious because it turned out really well. I've repainted my entire front kit just with rattle cans and then wetsanded up to 1000grit, polished, and added show car gloss. You could never tell it was sprayed with cans but next time I'm gonna get a air gun because I didnt care for wetsanding all week.

I didn't... look in the stock boost location.

I believe if you look by the tach there, it still has the coolant temp. gauge (which you were probably referring to as the engine temp). Just re-located. Weird, my 91 gauge cluster is different I believe? Although it's been sitting in the garage on jackstands so long that I couldn't say 100% :laugh:
