Pop up lights mod?

So, I've been looking around the site and I see some cars with pop up lights, and I was wondering how they still stick up a bit when they are supposed to be down, it looks nice. I have pop up lights and I would like to have this "mod"

I think you are talking about the lazy eye headlights for the 1g. Amazing what results I turned out by doing a search for 'lazy eye 1g'.....

Search for "chicklet mod"

The short version, you are removing a small 'chicklet' looking connector from a passenger-side wire cluster and bending a piece. This will keep the lights from popping up when you turn them on. You can control them with the lights button on the left side of your dash.
