Hey, I have read about 1000 old posts about spark plugs and wires. I have looked all over this site and can't find a post about plugs and wires for a N/T Eclipse! Every post I've read is only about gst/and gsx's. From what I've read, I've come to the conclusion that NGK plugs and Magnecor wires would be the best for my car. What I need to know is the part numbers for NGK plugs for a non-turbo 1999 Eclipse (GS). Every post I've read talks about the BPR7ES (for a high mod'd car) and BPR3ES (for a stock car). Do those plugs only work in a gst/gsx? Thanks for your help.

Please don't give me any flame. I've done my research and spent a good day reading every post about NGK/spark plugs. I just can't seem to find anything about a N/T Eclipse.

I would go with platinums in your NT. NGK's are mainly for turbo cars. The reason people say go with BPR7ES in a highly modded car is because its a colder burn. You want a colder burn for a turbocharged engine and a hotter burn for a NT car. As for wires I would just get some stock ones. Magnacores are basically made for turbo DSM's. Just got to your nearest NAPA and tell them what you need or pick it up from the dealer.

It's all a matter of opinion and trying different things to see what you wanna run.

I have a 97 RS so basically same as you... Currently, I'm running Accell wires and Bosch Platinum +4 plugs. At first, I loved the Boschs, but now I'm thinking of trying something new. Some people say these plugs don't run good with DSMs....I, overall, like them....simply will be trying a new brand.

i've heard ngk was some of the better plugs out there. My dad said that bosch is a great company but I have also heard that their plugs don't perform well in dsm's.

I've got NGK's single post ones for $6. Runs smoother than my old ones and since you're not heavily modded I wouldn't spend a ton of money on plugs.
