No. Cinder blocks will not reliably support a car. And a car falling on them from a few inches will almost guarantee their failure.

Cinderblocks...LOL I wouldn't trust anything that I've seen teen martial artists break with their fists.

I was thinking about finding a tall curb or something taller next to a road and putting something to ride up on to it intitially. How tall would i need it to be to do a catback? Im a cheap a$$ LOL

Uhh. It's not that expensive. You buy it once, then you have the jack and jack stands for the rest of... well, till you get rid of them. Don't cheap out please. We don't want to hear about someone getting crushed by their DSM. Personally, I won't work out in the middle of a street ever. I've seen too many people run into parked cars on the side of the road. So my garage it is. Or at least my driveway. Do yourself a favor and buy the jack and stands.

Im a cheap a$$ LOL
So am I, but there's smart cheap (otherwise kown as frugal) and there's stupid cheap (known as cheap). I worked on cars for over 20 years with nothing more than a scissors jack and some blocks. That was stupid cheap. A low profile/high lift racing jack was one of my better investments and one of the most used tools in my collection.

ramps breaking.....i have walmart ramps that hold my dads f150. Iv used them on a tow truck as well. Ramps are forgetting the car up and the stands are for keeping it from falling on you. I say get it all for 35. Thats the stands alone.

AMS sells ramp for lowered cars. They don't look real high but enough to get a jack under the car.

Or just get a 4x4 or some type of wood run your wheels up on it and it will give you enough room to get the jack under it and won't cost as much as what I'm sure they want for those ramps.

Yeah, I have 2x8's that I put under the front of the ramp so the front end doesn't hit the ramp
