please help me with these codes

okay so i have a p0401 egr flow insufficent AND a p0402 egr flow excessive code on my car. anyone know what it is? thanks, in advance for the help btw i also HAD a p0411 or p1411, i forget which code it was but it stayed off onced i erased it

Usually when you get both an excessive code and an insufficient code it means that the egr valve needs to be replaced. The only other possibility would be maybe a plugged catalytic converter.

I was thinking that it was more then likely a bad egr valve but just need a conformation
