I recently got a 96 eclipse rs with 420a obviosly, anyway this morning i was drivin around stoped at the store came back and my car wouldnt start with just the clutch in i had to also give it gas, when i got to the corner leaving i pushed the clutch in and it died the car will not run in ntrl or with the clutch in i have to feather the gas. i brought it home and my buddy grabed his code reader it threw up code p0401 egr insuficiant flow and code p0113 air intake temp i believe i am in dire need of some dsm knowledge guys please get back to me if u know how i can fix these probs do u think i have cloged injectors or a faulty mas or could it be as simple as my isc im lost.

p0401 egr insuficiant flow check the vacuum line on the plastic valve in the front of the motor thats the same code i got when my vacuum line came off.

BWD Sensor
Part No. WT2000
and that is the air charge temp sensor It's to the right of the 3 way vacuum fitting on the back of the intake manifold its about 27.99 dollars at advance auto. It helps to adjust the amount of fuel running through the motor which sounds like your problem.

thanks man for the reply, uh i checked the valve its the egr sylanoid i bielieve but its pluged in could this be caused by cloged injectors or bad fuel pump/filter. or egr can the egr cause the motor 2 die if the tube is cloged or egr is stuck shut or open is the bwd sensor on the left or right side of the manifold.

most of the time a egr valve will not cause it to die, cause we can block them off and be ok i would check the air intake charge sensor i believe its to the right but i dont wanna go outside its raining here LOL
