My 1995 Eagle Talon ESI vibrates when at idle and i need some ideas of what it could be please help this young woman please!!

A little better description would be alot of help on this end.
If it's just rough idle do you know if it seems like the engine is vibrating badly?
The dash?
Steering wheel?
Whole car?

More description?
Possibly a motor mount.

My first thought as well. If you say at idle, I will assume that the car is stationary as well... and that just screams motor mounts.

sorry new here but it is the whole car that vibrats and that idles at just blow 1

How bad does it vibrate and like I asked where exactly does it vibrate the most?
Like around the steering colum or where exactly?
Please be more descriptive next time.

Ok... I'll go into further questioning then.

It "shakes" (the engine) so it makes the whole car shake? Then you deff sound like a motor mount.
Does it happen WORSE on bumpy roads?
Can you hear it loudly IN the car or is it normal volume?
Does the car make any "sputtering" sounds or does it just shake.

yes it does make a sputtering noise just a bit and i can only tell that it is doing it when i am at a stand still (stop signs, red lights, etc) i am not real sure wear the motor mounts are

i just bought a 92 laser awd that has been sitting for about 2 years

it is having a very similar idle issue

the car actually idles pretty good (as in within rpm ranges) although the whole motor shakes at idle - and you can fell it in the car very easily

as soon as you get the rpms above 1000 it runs perfectly smooth...also it runs perfectly smooth off of a cold start....its just once it warms up that it idles rough - that makes me wonder if its the o2 sensor ... like when the car hits closed loop and relies on the o2 sensor maybe then its running rough?

i have driven plenty of dsms with bad motor mounts and know what they fell like in between shifts.. this car feels fine in between shifts - on off the throttle etc.

motor mount....im pretty sure that is what it is...its actually kinda cheap to exchange

if your car is shaking at idle, and your motor mounts are brand new, they've probably been upgraded to some aftermarket motor mount like polyurethanes. I know for a fact those stiffer mounts can cause your car to shake at idle.

How long have you had your car? It really sounds like you don't know what kind of mods it has and you should really ask the previous owner what those mods are.
