DSMGraveyard drills and taps the oil squirter hole in non turbo blocks to make them a turbo block. In my opinion you would think the non turbo block is stronger.
 
Modifying the big end of the rods for oiling is primarily for bathing the thrust side of the cylinder (exhaust side on a 4g63) in oil. That's the side of the cylinder that the piston skirt exerts the most load on when the piston moves up the bore. If you use stock rods, you don't need to worry about because there is already a pinhole-sized thrust oiler built into them for that purpose. As far as piston oil squirters go... that's a whole other can of worms as to whether or not you "need" them. It really depends on the usage of the motor. If you are going to be using cast pistons in an endurance or sustained load application then I can see how they could help, but for a forged piston street/race motor all they are doing is creating more windage losses. Personally, I prefer no squirters on anything I build unless it's an endurance engine.
