I love my t28, because it looks factory under the hood and thats what i tell everyone it is, of course an FP Race mani doesn't help as it isnt' very factory looking haha none the less its sweet.
with out tuning you will be running your injectors past normal operating percentages. we logged a run with a 190 and stock injectors on a 19psi and injector duty was right around 97%. I have 750s now but haven't put them in.

hahaha I cant belive any dumb a$$ would belive your cars stock haha !

Yeah, Im aware and all that I just dont have some kind of logger yet so thats why i ask what would be a safe number to stay under for boost control

stock boost. WIthout a way to monitor stuff no matter how sure you are of yoru setup do not raise it over stock boost levels or whatever your wastegate spring will alow without a vaccum sorce.

Code:
Wow, pure sex. Very nice!

Thanks!, I Sure hope it will impress me performance wise as good as it looks

I have a FPBigT28 so pretty much the same thing.

I have full supporting mods but I DD the turbo at 13 psi.

13 psi on a very consertive timing of 12* and the thing rocks you in first and second.

Thrid is a nice pull... but get thoes supporting mods. E85 20* of timing and 22 psi and This thing will take you into the 12's ez.

Ill be shooting for 12's ifnot Mid 12's with this on E85

i would seriusly advise you run no higher than 10psi until you get a chance to put in bigger injectors and add a fine tune... my old t25 was a piece of shit so i put in a Frankenstein Stage 3 and ran the shit out of it at about 18-22psi with Stock fuel injectors and stock fuel pump... needless to say the head blew and i was about 2 grand in the hole... Now i still have that same turbo that blew my engine but i am sure to never push over 10psi or pshh there goes another $2200... Take it from me BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY!!

Has anyone seen a 14b with 16g internals. This kid tried selling me one but i didnt know anything about it, but this kid also sold me a complete turbo back exhaust with a evo 3 o2 housing for 200 bucks and the cat back is in great shape but i may need a new downpipe. But still 200 bucks aint bad considering the o2 housing alone is 130 bucks at dsm parts.com, but i dont think the kid knew what he was doing.

That kid def. posted in the wrong thread.

*anyway*

Damn dude, you dont need an AFC that expensive. I got one on Apexi one on ebay for 200 shipped. And i would say you dont need injectors right away. Those can wait till you get a logger. You can just open up the injectors for longer just incase for a lil more fuel. You wont hit fuel cut if you leave the boost at stock.

Which would be a good one, I just thought since its new it would be a good one.. Im looking to hit around 280hp-300hp for now until I can get injectors and FMIC... Hoping I can get into 13's even high 13's Id be happy until next year when summer hits again,,

Both the Apexi SAFCII and the newer Apexi NEO will work and they both have pros and cons. The SAFCII is kinda nice because you can hold two maps/adjustment settings but on the NEO you can only hold one. On the other hand, the NEO has more adjustment points per RPM than the SAFCII so you might be able to get a little bit better of a tune. Other than that, they are basically the same unit. After that it'll just come down to price.

My setup is almost identical to yours. I doubt you'll be able to hit 300whp until you upgrade injectors. My advice is if you're strapped for cash (and it sounds like you are), you should pick up some EVO VIII/IX 560cc injectors. Thats what I did and I got them for dirt cheap.. I got the EVO injectors and FP's 17psi WGA for $100.

I haven't installed the EVO injectors yet as I still need to get an AFC first, but I've done my research and you'll max out the T-28 long before you'll max out those 560cc injectors.

Sounds good. I alread have a fuel pump, Ill just need those injectors and the AFC.. Not that im really strapped for cash but I wasnt planning on going all out in one shot, this is mostly my winter car but i do take it out sometimes in the summer... I guess ill weigh out my options and see if I really Need all those this year..

Very nice turbo you have there, many good things to be said about it, but keep near stock bost like everyone else says, to turn up the boost blind could leave you blind with rage when the motor poofs.

i have the same turbo....i also need a afc or neo but i ran the car 13-15psi ran strong...
and i ran it like that for like a year....i been lazy and havent got around to buying the
fuel mods that i need....right now im running 10psi just to save some gas....It spools
really quick....get ready for BAD wheelspin..oh never mind your awd but still...
oh i got bored one day turn up the boost to 19 haha bad idea....don't do it...well
nothing happen but what can i say i was bored and it was fun....

oh and dont forget you got to break that turbo in first ...give it a few days befor
you really get into boost...

Yeah, no doubt I wont be pushing it until i get the rest of my parts i need.. Your car is really nice!!

Thats what I have been hearing been doing some research and I have read that the Neo system isnt very compatible with our cars, thanks for that info, which safc is a good one to run?

I use to have the Apexi Neo and got rid of it a couple months before this thread:http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...eo-karmen-airflow-problems.html?highlight=Neo was produced. I now have safc II (need to update the profile) and either safc or safc II will work. Not knocking the Neo but it you would be good to wait and see when they will adress the issue.

Actually, there is no such thing as a "turbo break in period". The only thing you really need to do is prime the turbo before the initial startup. After that, you're good to go. Boost away!
