As you can see, as stated above, not a pretty sight.. I didn't remove the lower sheild, as it's not required to remove the mani.. If you'd like pictures of it removed, I'll shoot those as well.. The pics are a little small, (email mode) If you want the large originals, I'll submit those, or if you want any different angles, let me know.. The outlet flange on this mani will bolt up to a T25, but you'll have to remove the AC compressor to accomidate the room needed for the turbo..

I should have been more specific, i was looking for some pics of the engin bay with the shield removed. I am going to be getting a chrome header and was thinking of leaving the shield off once its on. So if you guys could get some of the engin bay it would be great. If you could find some of a chrome header it would be even better.
Thanks,

Well, It's not that hard to picture that ugly mani attached to an engine in the engine bay.. I doubt you'll find anyone on this site that currently has a stock manifold in their engine bay that they can take a picture of.. If it's really a necessity, and you can't visualize it, let me know and I'll photo chop the mani onto a block in an engine bay.. The chrome header will look better than the stock mani, but looks should be the only reason you're buying it, as the gains will be very low as compared to any exhaust with a turbo flange on the other side..

2gnt.com would be a better forum to browse through on this matter IMO..

Edit: If you're getting a chrome header, your maifold's heat shield will not bolt up any way.. So no, you don't put it on.. If you want to minimize heat saturation, get it coated or wrap with header wrap.. The only way to make a heat shield would be a custom fab job, as I doubt there is anyone that sells such an aftermarket part..

It's not the "best" looking anymore, but you get the idea...

If you get headers, definitely take the shield off. Makes a much cleaner look.

Here are the OBX 4-1 headers on my car, before I boosted...
