Ok everyone I've searched and not really found anything I'm looking for.Can anyone post there pics of there 2gb dropped 1.5 or 2inches running a 18in wheel with a 225/40/18 tire.

I'm trying to decide what will look best, last july I order springs that were supposed to be a 1.75 in drop but my front sits real low and my rear looks like a monster truck for sum reason.

I know dude but I had to get them put on because the guy I bought it from was running on 4 broken coilover springs, so they had to get on I just wonder if the guy i bought them from jipped me, the car has a very nice ride but it looks like straight doo doo!!!

Here ya go I have H&R race springs 2in front 1.75 rear drop with the same wheel tire combo you speak of.Hope this helps.

Do you rub when turning or hitting holes? I thought 2" would be too low for 18's

And you can get Megans for $100, 2" drop but I heard they begin to sag over time.

do you have the fronts in the rear by any chance?

the front springs are a lot higher load because it has to support the motor/trans...

maybe you installed them reverse??

I had a suspension shop put them in because I dont have a spring compressor. Does any one have a pic of what front springs look like and what rear springs look like. I didn't even know it was possible to switch them around I didn't think they would go on.

Okay just fyi you dont need a spring compressor when you put on lowering springs. The springs are short so there is no need to compress them to get them on the strut. So next time save yourself some dollars and try it yourself. It's simple even with basic hand tools.I found the H&Rs on ebay new for around 300 if I remember. But remember with that drop you need a camber kit you can make the rear one with just longer bolts and washers. And no I dont ever rub when I hit bumps.

Which one of these is the front and which is the rear. What shouldi look for on my springs to deremine which is which so I can tell if they indeed were switched around.

If you go & look at the springs the front springs will have a larger material diameter, as they are (or atleast should be) a higher spring rate vs the rear springs (front end needs to support more weight). In the pic, the springs on the left would be the fronts.

All the pics in my gallery are of an old setup, thats Tokico springs (say 1.6" drop but probably more like 1.8) & 225/40/18 rubber.

By looking at your pic I would guess maybe a 1" drop at the front & less then 1" on the rear.

Well they sit pretty low on the front but I don't want to rip everything apart and they be on the right wheels and stuff ya know, I'm thinking I indeed get ripped because they were said to be a 1.75in drop.

You don't need to rip anything apart, just look at the springs in the wheel well opening & make sure the thickness on the front coil are larger in diameter then the rear. Have never really checked to see if it is possible to install the springs backwards but its a simple check just to be sure.

Also see if you can see any part #'s on the springs to make sure their the correct for your application. Would help if you could find out the brand of spring as well. I'd be contacting the installer/manufacturer to see what up.

Have you checked to make sure the springs are seated properly, etc? (ie installed correctly?)

I'm perty sure they were installed correctly it was done by a good suspension shop as far as brand I can't quite remember they started with a V. I'll have to jack the car up a lil bit to check and see because the front sits to low to get a good look in the wheel well.

Ok guys I just went outside and checked and the springs are installed correctly, I was hoping to get lucky but I guess not I never get lucky haha. guess it's time for some new springs.

Here's mine. Just installed the 18" rims yesterday. Stock suspension, I think it looks just about right. I just need some new headlights
